This small collection contains invoices and letters addressed to merchant Daniel Tyson from 1771 to 1773. Tyson imported goods primarily from England and resold them to merchants in Bucks County, PA. Invoices list merchandise shipped from England, while letters contain orders for specific items. Among the items mentioned are Irish linen, pewter plates and spoons, paper, pins, rugs, blankets, dry goods, gunpowder and ammunition, snuff boxes, Leghorn hats, wine, and Jew's harps.
